analytica Vietnam, the most important venue for the laboratory industry in the country, is postponed once more and will now take place from May 05 to 07, 2022, at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center. This decision was made by the trade fair organizer IMAG in consultation with customers and partners in order to achieve more planning reliability for all involved.
Currently it is impossible to predict what the COVID-19 situation in the country and international travel restrictions will be in October by the date previously scheduled. Until at least the end of July, due to rising incidences no trade fairs are possible in Vietnam, which has so far come through the pandemic with comparatively little harm suffered.
"Due to the current COVID-19 situation in this region and the international travel restrictions, at this point in time we cannot guarantee our exhibitors the trade fair date, nor the usual high visitor interest for October," said Gabriele Kraus, division manager at the trade show organizer IMAG, explaining the date change. In consultation with customers and associations, the responsible managers have decided to postpone the trade fair until May of next year, when the global vaccination campaign will have progressed further. The customers surveyed unanimously support the postponement of the trade fair, and have already firmly scheduled their participation for next spring.
As a spin-off of the world's leading trade fair analytica in Munich, analytica Vietnam, trade fair for laboratory technology, analysis, biotechnology and diagnostics, has been serving the future market of Vietnam and the Southeast Asian region since 2009. In addition to the exhibition area, the trade fair attaches great importance to personal and professional exchange and therefore offers an extensive accompanying conference and supporting program. In 2019, analytica Vietnam grew to record levels in terms of exhibitors and visitors as well as of floor space.
